CatWorldly product pages must label the evidence behind each recommendation.
Evidence Labels
Gear content should label items as research-based comparison, editorial selection, hands-on tested or specification guide. Hands-on testing should only be claimed when CatWorldly actually tested the product.
Affiliate Links
If CatWorldly uses affiliate links, the page should disclose the relationship near monetized links and explain that editorial judgment is not for sale.
Current Amazon Links
CatWorldly may link to Amazon product pages before an affiliate account is active. CatWorldly does not currently earn from those Amazon links unless a page labels them as affiliate or paid links; that may change in the future if affiliate links are added and disclosed.
Current Redbubble Links
CatWorldly may link official merchandise designs to Redbubble. CatWorldly does not currently collect checkout details or earn affiliate commission from those Redbubble links unless a page labels them as affiliate or paid links. Redbubble product pages, terms, privacy policy, prices, production and returns apply after the click.
Safety First
Product usefulness should be judged by fit, stability, cleanability, safety, cat acceptance and the household job it solves, not by novelty alone.
No Fake Testing
A product page must not imply CatWorldly handled, measured, washed, stress-tested or compared an item in person unless that happened and the page says what was tested. Store ranking, specifications and editorial judgment are useful, but they are not hands-on testing.
Comparison Pages
Comparison pages should be easy to scan: best for, avoid if, fit or size limits, cleaning burden, safety concern, evidence label, price/date observed and affiliate status should be visible without forcing readers to infer the difference from prose.
Prices and Availability
Prices, store positions, stock status and seller pages change. When a page uses a dated store snapshot, it should show the observation date and avoid treating that snapshot as permanent proof of quality.
Sponsored or Free Products
If CatWorldly receives money, free products, samples, sponsorship, commissions or other consideration, the relevant page should say so near the recommendation and keep the evidence label unchanged.
Corrections and Rechecks
Gear pages should be rechecked when affiliate status changes, a safety note changes, a product is renamed or discontinued, a reader reports a mismatch, or CatWorldly upgrades a page from specification guide to hands-on tested.
